CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP OF NDIC AS SENATE SCREENED AND CONFIRM NEW EXECUTIVE'S DIRECTOR

The Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions  at the National Assembly, follow a request by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu urging Senate to consider and confirm Mr. Thompson Oludare Sunday for appointment as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Cooperation and Dr. Kabiru Sabo katata on the position of the Executive Director in the same cooperation.

The committee, chairman Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, found the nominees to be qualified and suitable for their respective positions, citing their experience and expertise, knowledge,  . The Senate, after reviewing the committee's report, confirmed the appointments, signifying a smooth confirmation process for the NDIC leadership nominees.

‎The Senate's confirmation of the NDIC leadership followed a screening process where the nominees presented their qualifications and were cleared by the committee.
